Force?

Does this mean AT&T will terminate your DSL service if you cancel your AT&T wireless service?

If that isn't the case, then AT&T should be applauded for some forward thinking. Landlines are not as popular as they used to be, and they are no longer the cash cow that the telegraph company could always count on. Giving people incentives to bundle wireless and DSL and receive a discount on both in the process will ultimately benefit consumers.

They may not allow you to cancel your AT&T wireless service without canceling your DSL service.

Most wireless plans are for a year or two so i guess the DSL would also be under those terms.

Give me a break!

AT&t is fooling no one when they attempt to come across as a "friendlier carrier" as they trying here. Stephenson is full of shit, you know it and I know it!
At&t will tack on surcharges, recovery fees, etc., etc., to make up for perceived missed landline revenue. The network as a whole will survive...always could, always will!
