Re: Sympatico throttling Bit Torrents now??? I got throttled tonight and it hampered my Voip, YouTube usage, and web browsing. Voip usage was very choppy and messy, sometimes calls even cut out. YouTube vids would load, but I could not watch them. They played for a second or two then would stop. Then regular web browsing was slow. It let up around 11pm or so. And only occured once I turned some torrents on. Pretty annoying.

I too live in the Toronto area and my BT is getting throttled as well and also the normal http downloads. This is getting ridiculous..My contract is going to end soon. Please recommend other good isps that can offer atleast 3mbps for $30/month. Tekksaavy is going to charge 40$ from january. |

Well if you download LESS than 200 GB/month pick premium it's still $30 as of Jan..
Either way, I don't think $40 is too much to ask for UNLIMITED Service.. |

If that's not good enough then go to canadianisp.com and see if you can find something better. (Hint: Good Luck. You're going to need a lot of it.) |
