Re: [Equipment] IP8100-1: How to add handsets? The advice by the other posts do not work. In order to reset the handset you must do the following:
1. Turn off the base (unplug the a/c cable from the back). NOTE: You must do this with the base that the handset is originally registered. I am not sure how to do it if you do not have access to the original base, or if you have inadvertantly punched in the wrong ID#.
2. Hold the page button on the base and turn the base back on. The sends signals to the handsets to reset.
3. Turn off the base again.
4. Turn on the handset. It should prompt you for a new based ID #.
5. Reprogram all the handsets with the base ID#. |
