I read it quite differently - residential means no to very little profit so they need to subsidize the residential fees with other services and naturally they would want to partner with BB. To me - it does not mean that BB is forcing them out of residential - I think they already knew and acknowledged that residential makes no to little money in the article... |

This is really just resold Covad business class ADSL2+, so to justify taking the loss on offering it at a lower price to residential customers, he's saying they'd have to make up their money by bundling in other services....
It's definitely a much different company, but I'm not sure how much of their evolution toward small business was under their control. And this comes from a guy who used to play Counterstrike with Mike Apgar and Ed Bender, so I understand what's been lost..... |
