For example, each time the FCC gets a complaint about television content, they make it out like hundreds of thousands complained about the infamous Janet boob exposure, whereas, the ::REALITY:: was something like 20 people -all of the fundie persuasion- actually complained.
If people didn't want to see tits & ass and lots of it on the tube, then we wouldn't be drowning in ridiculous "reality" TV or equally ridiculous comedy sitcoms. Television would be fundie TV 365x24x7. Even Fox would drop questionable shows that don't tow the fundie line, but the ::REALITY:: is that most Americans like their T&A just fine.
