| All I can say is that I've never had any problems whatsoever with Kerio 2.1.5 (downloaded from here), and I've installed it on 4 machines (all running XP SP2).
However, I have seen posts in forums on fwdrv.sys causing problems. You might want to search for fwdrv.sys in forums at DSL reports, wilder's security or Google.
The problems you describe doesn't sound quite like the ones I read fwdrv.sys being known to cause though, but I haven't read them in detail since I have no problems.
Seems all security programs (firewalls, AVs etc) have serious issues for some persons... I'm glad my system works with Kerio since I don't like the options - I've had serious problems with ZA, and Comodo has had much critique for the present version.
