After so many recommendations for Auslogics Disk Defrag, I decided to try it out.
Wow, it's amazing. Really fast. Much better than Windows defrag. Also decided to give it a try and was very impressed with it. Has now replaced Windows defrag on my system as well. |

Nice job on the poll, grobinette . I voted for Diskeeper Lite, but seeing all these write-ins for Auslogics Disk Defrag makes me want to check it out, for those rare occasions I defrag my shared partitions. This is why we do the polls, and why they're so useful. I might never have heard of it otherwise.

JK Defrag is my choice. It's free. No install required. Can be run as part of the screensaver process. Did I mention it is free? |

| reply to grobinette I clicked "none" because I defrag so seldomly - maybe once a year. I haven't noticed much difference in the last several years (fast system, fast drives, big caches). Back when we first started with PCs, with slow machines and drives, it was necessary, but not now. |

Auslogics Disk Defrag (not listed) on XP Home laptop. (Never could get the Windows defrag to work on this laptop, it starts and then just sits there doing nothing). -- JIHAD WATCH~~9496 DEADLY TERROR ATTACKS SINCE 9/11 |
