[POLL] Defragmentation Software - 2008 Members Choice

Defragmentation defined Wikipedia

Microsoft defrag, or disk defragmenter, is a software utility designed to help chronologically order the data on the hard disk drive. The theory behind defrag is to place each program together instead of scattered throughout the hard disk drive, allowing the read-write head to access the data faster on the hard disk drive. Defrag was first available in MS-DOS 6.0 and has been available ever since.

I intentionally did not list defrag utilities that are only available as part of a suite and I may not have listed your favorite. If choosing “other” please provide a link and I will add it to the collection. This is a multiple choice poll, so feel free to check all products that you utilize. Enough said – lets get on with the choices.

Which Defragmentation Software do you use?
Windows Defrag works just fine for me. 106 (24.2%)

I didn't see an option for using a well-designed filesystem, so I went with "None."

Keep making mention of Auslogics if that is what you use.

I'll do a tally for the FAQ and make sure it gets added to the list for the next go round.

I've been a very satisfied Diskeeper user for several years.
Working great for me on XP and Vista ...
I'll add an extra shout out to their tech support which has been top notch especially as they added support for Vista.
Personable, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.
