Newbie advice please

Hello everyone, I plan on putting together a LAN consisting of my main PC (windows xp home) and a PC I currently don't use but have installed Linux Fedora 7. My main PC is the PC I use with my verizon DSL.

As I mentioned, I would like to connect these two via a LAN network, however I'm a real neat freak. I would like to combine DSL modem and LAN router into one small package that would replace my current verizon supplied Westell 327W modem. Does SMC have a specific product that will fit the bill?

I tried emailing their "customer service", didn't receive a reply. Actually if there is another solution from another company please drop me a message. Not particularly devoted to this company's products or anything like that.
