Comcast installed this cable modem for me and I see that the status page has DOCSIS 1.x (Channel Type: DOCSIS 1.x (TDMA) ) listed for the upstream.
Is this correct for the current configurations?
Thanks, mark |

Ya think? Could be the reason I put the Moto back in it's box. Phone cord is a dead giveaway too. -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

The question is WTF does 1.x mean exactly ? Means it is setup for 1.x? That usually tends to mean that is supports any version of DOCSIS 1, but doesn't exactly like DOCSIS2... But the 502's are also a pain in the ass so who knows. |

| The 1.x is just a indicator that the version is compatible with all variants in current existence, rather its 1.0 1.1 or 1.5, theres whole lot more configuration, settings, and signal indicators, information that is not available on your side. And can only be accessed internally. |
