| reply to Snakeoil Re: [Sci-Fi] Torchwood.. anyone watching?
I'll be watching via torrents. BBC America is extra $$$ in my cable package.
At least there's no writers strike over there. -- I don't mind coming to work, but that eight hour wait to go home is a bitch. |

| reply to Snakeoil Finally got to see my first episode of Torchwood on BBC America. The episode in question was Random Shoes. Perhaps not the best episode to start with since the team didnt make much of an appearance in the show.
I also have the Torchwood episode Out of Time recorded but I havent gotten around to watching it yet. I expect this ep will be better.
I setup my MCE PC to record all Torchwood showings on BBCA so I can catch-up soon. I may not bother with the Torchwood DVD release if I can see everything on BBCA but the DVD set would probably be better for getting started right from episode one. |

| Any word on whether they're doing Declassified this season? It took me only about 35 minutes to get Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang (bloody Torchwood), but I don't see any hits for declassified. Only hits on Google are from season 1.
Looks like Amazon and Best Buy are going to have season 1 for about $55 on Tuesday. I could go with no sales tax from Amazon, but I have a $25 gift card for BB, hardly ever shop there, and there's one right on the way home from work so I'll probably stop there and pick it up for about #30 out of pocket. |

| reply to Snakeoil Hey guys and gals just wanted to give the heads up. For people with HD, and who get HD-Net Channel they are airing season 2 starting on Feb 11th at 7PM and of course like with season One its 100% uncensored.
I'm going to just wait the extra 3 weeks, cause censoring this show is just criminal |

| reply to Snakeoil I could do without the male kissing male thing. Now more of the female kissing, feeling each other up wouldn't be bad

.
However, as I recall, the first and second appearance of Captain Jack on Dr. Who had a certain Captain making passes at Rose. My impression initially was that the character would make a pass at just about anything be it male, female, other or alien,
.hell especially if it was alien,

In Torchwood the character Jack seemed to have undergone some tweaking especially in this respect. |
