| Information to post when asking for help
I've seen quite a few people asking for help and not giving us any information off the bat other than they're getting slow speeds or webpages won't load. So, along with the post, try to give us some of the following information:
•What device are you using? •What operating system are you using? •What version of the Connection Manager are you using for your device? •Where did you get the connection manager software for your device? •What ZIP code are you in? •Are you sure you have EVDO coverage? •What signal strengths does the connection manager software report? (Hold mouse over the bars in connection manager) •What antivirus software are you running? •Is the device acting as a dial-up modem of have you installed the NDIS driver? •Did it ever work right? •Have you perhaps overlooked a bill? (Sprint WILL "hotline" accounts that are overdue, disabling EVDO access) •What makes the sky blue? -- Charter 5M | Windows XP MCE SP2 | Mobile AMD Athlon 64 4000+ | 1.5GB RAM | ATI Mobile Radeon X600 128MB | 120GB HDD |

| This is probably something that should be stickied. Not sure how to go about getting that done in this forum, But some of these posts really could use a sticky. -- Hn7000s Small Office plan/.74m dish & 1Watt Trans on Satmex 5 Signal: 86/Win XP Pro SP2/P4 3gig, 2Gigs Ram, Radeon X1300 500meg video |
