I need adsl bad here this area needs really bad here.(help!)

Click for full size
Dear to all the people out there, including windstream

I would love to have dsl in this area and my whole entire neighborhood
including my neighbors have talked over the recent years in upcoming months and
they will love recommend to have dsl in this whole entire subdivision neighborhood
and my friends are getting sick of watching youtube videos taking an hour to download
on a 56k modem and i talked to my other friends one-mile away from here
and the whole entire area can get dsl in the area and they been having it since almost 3 1/2 year so far.

Well if you can encourage windstream to bring dsl in my area this is the area really wants to need so badly
in this following area around here. but i recently wrote an e-mail letter to them about two and half months ago about this and
they told me you live too far away from the nearest dsl area and it doesn't make no sense my friends can get a dsl about at least half mile away from here
and all they had to do is run a landline or ethernet cable to a phone box or something in this neighborhood where i live at
around here but my neighbors would appreciate it and i will offer free wifi to my friend down the local street from here and i have total three wireless routers
i have bought over last recent couple months. but i can't go with satellite modem because i tried one time and the connections are not all that good and they
don't play alot of multiplayer online gaming and do live web cam videos.

If I ever had dsl in my area around here i rather will love do playing alot of online multiplayer gaming such as a halo halo2
and would love to do some gaming console online gaming too. plus i do a lot of youtube video filming around here
and it takes me three to two hours to upload them on 56k modem. but i also will love to view youtube videos in the near future.

But the only thing I can view youtube videos to watch them on my notebook at my local krystal hotspot and my coffee hotspots too.
I know, life sucks to do it that way... but I am a huge gaming fan and looking to open up my own online business with an year or so.

PLEASE WINDSTREAM put adsl in my neighborhood
in my area around here!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks,
I am from mcalpin, florida
Don't have worry my house could be anywhere in area i circle in here so i would never give my real on location just my gps mark near my area. It's off googleearth i took this image on here.

1. If Windstream can't or won't supply you with DSL service, then this forum won't be able to help much. It is not operated by Windstream.

2. If you really intend to operate an online business, I suggest you move to an area that does have broadband service. If you are unable to move, there's always Hughesnet.

Windstream staff may monitor this site - maybe help get it to your area.

@warman58x,

In order to get DSL in my quite rural area we collected a petition of people who would sign up if it was available to them. Got a list of about 25 names with phone numbers and submitted to Windstream (at that time Alltel). A few months later we had DSL. Couldn't hurt to give this a try. You as the initiator should be able to get a referral fee for each new customer that signs up!

Good Luck

PS instead of giving your friend(s) free wi-fi get them to promise to sign up for DSL. The more that sign up the better your chance of getting the service extended.

Worked here also. I had about 75 names and asked the local how many actually signed up and they sold over 30 the first day available and 50 in the first month. It worked for our area and hope it worked for Windstream getting 50 customers right away.

When DSL first hit Orange Springs, it was only out of the CO, not the remotes. Well 80% of the people don't live close enough to the CO. So the local restaurant put in wifi for free, just buy a cup of coffee. But there are even fewer laptops here than there are paved roads and it hardly ever got used. They wired up my remote where the owner also lives and he took his modem and router home. Ours was a flash in the pan also, the Kelly Street (Cyber) Cafe. They still make good coffee.

Does Windstream cover there? I would guess you are on a Live Oak phone? or if you have a phone it's called a Live Oak number?

A lot just depends where you live. That area is fairly rural, used to live near Fort White.

One suggestion, if there are enough people in your general area that want DSL and you get a petition going your chance of them extending DSL out to your remote is pretty good. That is if you are within 3 miles about of your remote.

If you know your local WS person that rides around in the local WS truck or van, they can give you the scoop faster than calling the 800 number.

Another idea is if you can get the local numbers to Live Oak Office. Live Oak is the regional office for all of Florida. Robert Kelly used to be the head man for Florida and worked in Live Oak and think he still does. They probably don't know in that office the specifics of how close or not you are to a remote or getting DSL, but they should be able to put you in contact with the local supervisor who has to know his wiring maps very well. They used to publish the number to that office in the old Alltel phone books but WS took the number out of the front. But Live Oak itself isn't that big a town, someone should know someone to get you an answer there locally.

3 miles is a long way for DSL. Just about it's length from a good feed. So 3 miles away from the closest DSL means you could be as far as 6 miles from the closest feed point, way over the limit.

If there are a lot of people there then try a petition.
