With GigaTribe, for example (»www.gigatribe.com), all exchanges are encrypted, so the ISP can't tell that a user is sharing "x.mp3", the ISP will only know what software the person is using, and as we all know, software doesn't break laws - people do - but they'll have no way of knowing who's being naughty and who's being nice! |

The ISPs may not know the actual content passing through the encrypted tunnels, but that doesn't mean they can't throttle/block connections for the sake of "managing their networks". |
