| reply to signmeuptoo Re: Ok guys, where do you get your pizza in CT?
John's Best in New Milford. It's on Rt 7 (south of town) where the Boston Market used to be. The non-pizza items are good too.
Italia Mia used to be good, but it changed hands and its gone down hill quite a bit. The original guy was there for 30-40 years.

3 edits | reply to PeteC2 Sals in South Windsor was suppose to be a NY Pizza House then I find out they're not. The Pizza slice look like NY slices but the taste is not the same. Again none of them can get New Style Pizza to taste right, better off driving to the The Bronx or Yonkers area just pick one up at a real Italian Pizza place. Or better yet venture to Bayridge Brooklyn and get it there! When I am in the NYC area I usually just get 2 or more pies and stick it back here in the deep freezer. |

| reply to ffink20001 Heehee, the best pizza in CT is at Casa de Pete, a clip joint if I've ever seen one

| reply to debls said by debls :My favorite home town pizza is Little Rendezvous in Meriden. Brick oven, coal fired, fantastic. Any place that can survive over 50 years selling ONLY pizza is doing something right. I also like Illiano's that recently opened in Meriden. There are other's in Middletown, Lyme and other towns along the coast. We have several Illiano's here in New London/ Waterford Very good. -- Get cape... wear cape... fly! |

join:2002-02-08 New Milford, CT | reply to signmeuptoo I am partial to No Anchovies in Cromwell (tastes great, only issue is with store bought paper plates when eating in) and Brickhouse Pizza in New Milford (the sauce is just barely sweet and the pizza is just slightly overcooked, just how I like it). |
