I am partial to No Anchovies in Cromwell (tastes great, only issue is with store bought paper plates when eating in) and Brickhouse Pizza in New Milford (the sauce is just barely sweet and the pizza is just slightly overcooked, just how I like it). |

JimCT Premium join:2006-01-11 Moosup, CT | It's right next to Rite Aid- take exit 89 off I395, turn left, at the stop sign at the end of the road, look left and do a U-turn, and it'll be right there. I heard the one in Putnam is very good as well. |

| reply to signmeuptoo My favorite home town pizza is Little Rendezvous in Meriden. Brick oven, coal fired, fantastic. Any place that can survive over 50 years selling ONLY pizza is doing something right. I also like Illiano's that recently opened in Meriden. There are other's in Middletown, Lyme and other towns along the coast. |

3 edits | Sals in South Windsor was suppose to be a NY Pizza House then I find out they're not. The Pizza slice look like NY slices but the taste is not the same. Again none of them can get New Style Pizza to taste right, better off driving to the The Bronx or Yonkers area just pick one up at a real Italian Pizza place. Or better yet venture to Bayridge Brooklyn and get it there! When I am in the NYC area I usually just get 2 or more pies and stick it back here in the deep freezer. |
