For the first 14 months, service was good. Then I started getting cut off during daylight hours -- not just throttled mind you -- totally disconnected. Mostly, I would be connected (modem light on) until I actually tried to go online, then I would just be knocked off (modem light out). Sometimes it would let me download one site, then upon the next click, knock me off. After several phone calls and service visits, I was just told WildBlue is a shared service and there is nothing they could do. Well, I wrote a complaint letter to the FCC, and the FCC forwarded it to WildBlue. Guess what? My service is back up to nearly 100% and WildBlue says they are crediting my account $100. Satellite is the only option to dialup out here in the Tennessee boondocks. Not even cell phone signal here. |
