I don't think the NG support is bad, actually. Most ISP's worldwide have completely dropped NG support and Cogeco is one of the last of the larger ISP's I know of in Canada that still have it. While it's only 3 day, that's not bad at all. |

| In my book, a crappy, nearly unusuable service is not much better than no service. Very few people can live with 3-day retention and unreliable completion rates. I have some friends on cogeco who explicitly spent more $ just to get better newsgroup access.
Hosting their own newsgroup server is supposed to save them $ from bandwidth costs. |
