FYI, I'm typing on a 2-year old laptop keyboard and the touchpad does some weird crap (cursor was probably on the "l" and wiped it before sending), so at least I have a plausible excuse. What has been under water lately is Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

The rest of the US has much catching up to do when it comes to bandwidth. Long Island for example has two companies delivering 15+ megabit broadband for $50 for less (with 40-100% coverage). This cannot be said for much of the country.. N.C. or otherwise. Let's not forget an oc192 is only about 100mbit link for 100 businesses.
