multi room dvr question

i just activated the multi room dvr feature. everything is working fine, but i can't figure out how to delete a program using the satellite set top box in my bedroom.

The only thing you can do with the 2500's is watch the recorded shows - you cannot schedule or delete them unless you are doing it from the DVR itself...

Yeah it kind of makes sense since the other rooms are just STBs and can not control recordings, etc.

Just a bit inconvenient though. Last night I was in bed upstairs and remembered there was a program I forgot to set-up, so I had to run to the basement to record a soccer game showing at 2am.

I'm sure you already know that the STBs are not HD, so shows you record on the DVR that are HD will not be watchable in the other rooms. Also all the HD channels themselves will not be viewable either, even if the TVs in those rooms are HD.

Hopefully VZ will solve this by offering HD STBs for the multi-room users....soon please!

it is a bit inconvenient, but i can live with it..

it sure beats having the dvr humming away in my bedroom
