| Irritating Just hearing "broadband tax" irritates me. In no way is the state connected with many broadband connections, nor is the Internet in control of the government. Why should I pay Michigan a tax on my connection from Sprint? Sprint bought the rights to the frequencies, Sprint leases the T1 which is fed in to THEIR backbone, and Michigan has done NOTHING to help me (a few hundred feet from an RT) get broadband when I'm really not even that far from the city.
