|  Cant connect to router
I've been having some problems where i cannot connect to the internet. My have got reset and now i only have dsl and ethernet lights and cannot connect to the internet. I type in the gateway to access my router and it wont allow because to go into the router. Does anyone know how i can access my router without being online? |

Sorry, i referred to it as a modem router, i guess you could say. Its a westell 327w (model A90-327W11-06). I need to know of how to get it back into it so i can get my internet connection up again but since its offline,i cant. If the gateway (192.168.1.1) wont work to access it, what do i do? how do i access it? |

Geneva, IL | You can try a reset. Hold in the reset button for 10-15 seconds. That should reset to factory defaults. If that does not solve your problem, then perhaps the modem is defective. |

I did reset it. After i reset it, the internet would not work. I had this problem before i cant remember how i fixed it. I'm very proficient with routers, hubs, etc. but i've never had a westell. If you know someone who tell me how to get back into the router, please tell them to post. |

Geneva, IL | When you are connected, do you at least get DHCP from the 327w? If you do, what IP address does it assign, and what default gateway does it assign (check "ipconfig /all"). |

Yes i get a dhcp. It assigns 192.168.1.46 as the ip and 192.168.1.1 as the gateway but the gateway wont access the router. |

What browser are you using? I ask, because there have been reports of problems with IE7 (but not IE6 or firefox), in accessing some of the Westell modem pages. |
