| Re: WRT54G How do I assign a fixed IP ? (simple question) I'm assuming the Linksys PAP2 VOIP device is getting it's address from the WRT54G by DHCP. You can set the router's DHCP to always give the VOIP device the same IP.

| I haven't looked at Linksys' stock firmware in a long time, but when I last looked at it, it did not offer Static DHCP assignments. Only 3rd party firmware, such as DD-WRT, did.
If that's still the case, you'll need to either configure your static IP in the PAP2 (as previously suggested) or switch your WRT54G over to 3rd party firmware. | |
