What do you mean they blocked U.S. user access?
I just did a test and it worked fine. |

| HA, what good does that do. There must of been 10 different trackers in the test download I did. MPAA is not gonna stop them all quickly. If it was that easy it would of been done already.
I thought they meant that ISOhunt was going to deny USA IP addresses from the main website, much like TorrentSPY does now. |

1 edit | Ok, I thought they were blocking everything, like TorrentSPY is doing.
Well for educational purposes, I searched for an album this time. I found it, however when it attempted to download the progress went nowhere. It was trying to connect to a tracker at demonoid and it was going between (actively refusing the connection) to (tracker appears to be offline). Perhaps this is the outcome of this article. |

That just means that Demonoid refused to talk to you. There are plenty of torrents available through ISOH including trackers that will talk to USA IPs. All it takes is 1 tracker connection to get you started, then DHT can take it from there.
All that ISOH did was block US IPs from accessing the trackers they run (They list Torrentbox and Podtropolis - not sure if they only run those 2 or not. At any rate, I don't think I've ever had either of those listed in any torrents I've joined, and I definitely never had them as the only trackers).
What's scary is that the Canadian dollar actually became worth more than the US dollar. We're not going to be a first world country much longer at this rate. I wonder if the WTO will have the balls to kick us out over the online gambling fiasco. |

You can still find just as much as before. You can even download the .torrent. The only change they made is that if their trackers are listed in the torrent, you can't connect to them. As long as the torrent contains 1 tracker that you can connect to, you're in and DHT can work its magic. |
