@verizon.net | Westell 327W to Linksys WRT54G without ethernet cable ?
Can I set up a wireless connection b/t the modem and router to eliminate the cable?
The Westell does the PPPoE authentication and connects to Linksys's ethernet port. No DHCP on either and all my devices are on one network.

| I don't no exactly how to explain this to you so I'm just going to give you the answer. The answer is no, not unless you want to buy additional devices and spend as much money as your modem and router are worth to make it work. You would need to create an Ethernet Bridge between you modem and your router to make this work and it would probably cost more than it is worth to do it.
What is the end result that you are trying to accomplish? |

| The phone wiring in my old house is bad, so I have to have the modem in the basement at the service entry point. But from there neither the Westell nor the Linksys can reach the upstairs computers.
Best I can do so far is cable from the Westell to the Linksys in the living room - not a pretty sight. I thought the Linksys might have a wireless bridge configuration possible that wasn't obvious from the setup menus.
