| reply to AmeritecTech Somehow I believe I am screwed. (and not in that feel good way either! )
I went over and over this stupid thread and came up with this:
Day 1: Muz gets letter. Attempt on my life is made. FAILED (the only one that failed) chlen bites it. Robert rec'd msg. Muz dies. ** 2 kills and 1 attempt in 1 day!! WTF?? We lynched cow (and boy was he good with fries!)
Day 2: Sarah gets it. We lynched Rookie.
Day 3: No kills... humm... We lynched Navy.
Day 4: Robert gets the ax. We lynched Dez.
Day 5 begins:
Tech lists the manifest 4 times. Odd. Gomez gets whacked.
Leaving little 'ol me. To pull out all of my hair.
All signs point to Peter Henkine (the innkeeper) possibly AKA Tony Blackwoods. But yet, we cannot vote a player by his/her character name.
I am either reading WAY TOO much into this or Tech is a pure genius. Either way... he's still a bastard. -- Team Helix ~ R@H and F@H ~ Team Discovery |

So... I'll have to say that the killer was/is....... myself. (I'm the only one left after all)

| reply to Akasha I'm out and about for my sister's birthday so copy and paste is out. Since I don't want you to have to wait, I'll reveal that Tony Blackwoods is Yock Wants Blood. Yock is victorious. "Initiate message. Greetings. The serial killer is not a listed player, but is a player who has played in prior games. Find other anagram hints. End of message." It was sequenced with the manifest. -- "Independent thinkers tend to ALWAYS have someone Not agreeing with them. It's The non-thinkers that ALWAYS come in legions." -John Callari |

Initiate message = Aegis Emitenitas Greetings = Gene Grist The serial = Rhea Stile killer is not a = Ikona Stiller listed player = Dale Priestly but is a person = Pontius Sabre who has played = Pasha Howdley in prior games = Piers Marigon Find other = Ed Thorfin anagram hints = Martin Shagan End of Message = Omega Fesdens
Yock Wants Blood = Tony Blackwoods
And many many thanks, I can't imagine the effort you put into this one. -- Disclaimer: Resemblance between the above views and those of anyone is purely coincidental. Good game Tech. |

| 'tech said it was EXIF but my photoshop isn't showing it there - but in Windows it showed up when I right-clicked > Properties.
I was a little disappointed at how this worked out. If yock had put in my kill order 90 seconds later, my order to protect all military units would have gone through (protecting myself, navy, and Rook from death for the rest of the day) and my order to protect Gomez would have gone through, and I could have posted the message I was writing about figuring out some of the anagrams and figuring out that Peter Henkine was the innkeeper No one seemed to wonder why I'd randomly asked if there was an innkeeper around immediately before my death. |

What was lyns role? what protected her?
Now that it's game over what was your exact role?
Mine: "You are Piers Marigon, the town's blacksmith. Military units have a 50% resistance to attack as long as you survive. | I would have used it on the first day if I'd realized the killer would have multiple kills per day... but... oh well.
You are Rhea Stile, a Captain in the Royal Army. Your military training makes you a hardy sort. You have a 50% chance of surviving an attack as long as Piers Marigon survives, but you will be unable to speak or give orders until the doctor heals you. You have no attack resistance while injured. At any time, you may choose to marshal forces, so long as Piers Marigon survives. All military units will be immune from attack for the rest of the day. Furthermore, you can designate a player to protect who will also be immune for the rest of the day. Marshaling forces may be used twice throughout the game. Protecting a designated player with marshaled forces may be used only once during the game. Request to marshal forces should be sent to the Bastard Mod. Requests to protect a player should be sent in the name of the player, not the character. Do not chat privately with your troops. |
