I'm tired of seeing a lot of things in my favorites, but that doesn't mean they require their own forum. If these games were relegated to their own forum it would turn into a social club, and that's precisely what our game is NOT supposed to be. |

Isn't one mafia thread all you really have to worry about at one time? so why don't you do it this way: turn on topic tracking for your favorite forums, then live in the updated-followed ( » /postlist ), and 'stop' following topics when you are not interested in them, and they won't appear in that page anymore. |

With 7 Mafia threads in the first 50 Pub threads it's understandable that this would be suggested. And judging by the game numbers (Game 34) it's been ongoing for some time now.
I'm not sure a forum that's devoted exclusively to one game is a good idea; what if another game gains interest instead, or if 2 have interest? A "Pub Games" forum may not be a bad idea, though. Pub dwellers could play there, and it may attract some people who'd otherwise avoid the conversational/social threads in the Pub. |

I've enjoyed the few times I've played but I think the game is a fad and will disappear eventually. Just ignore the thread that says Mafia - Game XX. Like Justin says, there's usually not more than one going on at a time anyway. |

I play, and I follow all the games, but there are a lot sillier threads to ignore than the Mafia game threads. There are often 20 people viewing the game threads, especially at the end of a tight game.
Let me suggest again to bring back the "Ignore This Thread" feature for the Favorite Forums view so that all these issues can be solved at once.
To clarify, checking "Ignore This Thread" would stop the thread from being marked as Unread until told otherwise, no matter how many posts were added to it. |
