| Comcast HSI (upgrade to CHSI Game Invasion)
I upgraded to CHSI Premier Plus (the former GameInvasion package) last year (8000/768k) with PowerBoost. Pings are still low to game servers; I also have priority access to IGN and GameSpy FilePlanet servers (and GameSpy Arena PunkBuster-enabled game servers). While service is still stellar, Verizon FIOS Internet and FIOS TV service is now available in the area (and both are cheaper than CHSI and cable-TV). If you feel that the priority access to the IGN and GameSpy services are not worth the additional money, FIOS is now a solid alternative to both CHSI and Comcast cable-TV, given their cost advantage. |
