It's not my favorite, but you forgot Ashampoo's firewall. They have a free and paid version. The free version is at:

Amazing how low Norton/Symantec has fallen amongst the DSLR community. ZAF & NAT for me.

Jetico

Jetico free here but looks like I'm the only one so far, just to get the double-sided that WinXP firewall lacks
And a router but I like to know/see/control what wants/tries to call out, and Jetico looked like the simplest non-bloated/cluttered program that had what I wanted and only what I wanted (and free was very nice too).

Reminds me very much of the old old early ZoneAlarm that I loved before the bloat.

Router and XP/Vista firewalls. Unfortunately I was so quick to vote I missed the "router with software firewall" option, so you can add one more vote for that one.

Zone Alarm Free version 6.5.737.000 behind a Linksys router. I'm thinking of changing to Comodo due to recent leak test ratings of the ZA free. Thanks for the poll.

Currently using a Linux Box with SmoothWall Express 3.0 as my network Firewall/Gateway/Router...

SmoothWall Express is a free GPL firewall distribution based on a security-hardened subset of the GNU/Linux operating system (2.6 Kernel). Express allows users to convert a spare computer into a dedicated ‘hardware’ or network firewall that sits at the gateway, providing an extra layer of protection and saving valuable system resources. Development, testing and maintenance is done on an active basis by a core team of programmers with indispensable assistance from an extensive user community.

More information can be found at »www.smoothwall.org ..

I use Comodo on some machines (behind a Router). I also use Norton 360 on a few other machines. Norton 360 includes an excellent, SILENT firewall rarely pops up for permissions but blocks effectively (Also used behind a router.)
