| AMEX came through w/credit
It took a while but I won a reimbursement for unused months ($146 credit) from Amex. I was honest and only asked to be reimbursed for the months I prepaid and was not getting service. It was beyond their 90 days to appeal so I'm happy glad Amex came through..
I'm also one of the lucky ones to port their number successfully to Verizon's digital phone.
Of course, on the same credit card statement I have a credit for $146 for the Sunrocket charge- AND a paymednt to my cell company for around the same for that month since it was SO expensive to forward calls to the cell and use cell for everything waiting for our number to port! So overall we "lost" but not as bad as it could have been. Not many here talked about the cost of outages- we had a few months in the past where our cell bills were huge since we had to use it since sunrocket service had issues.
But overall we are so glad this is over- we called the poison control center and the center actually was routed to where we live! with sunrocket it was routed to buffalo NY- we would have been in big trouble if we called 911 or some emergency during the whole VOIP fiasco. We are also one of the people who will never go to VOIP or some fly by night company again!
Hope everyone's doing well! |

| Yes, I just got credited back $183.10 from AMEX too. I was a little worried because it took awhile but so relieved I was credited. The only minor headache with this whole Sunrocket deal was getting gizmo configurated when number ported to Net2phone. Net2phone helped me(after trying myself)get it running in minutes. If net2phone follows through with the promised 3+8 months trial/rebate I'm ahead of the game. And we all know that us Sunrocket/Net2phone people are super frugal....don't say cheap |
