Re: [TWC] spyware invasion Just because it worked fine in this person's shop on his Verizon line doesn't mean she is free and clear.
There are some underlying problems this "computer guy" is not seeing or wanting to dig a bit deeper to fix.
He probably just did a recover install and did not reformat the drive, thereby leaving the original problem there.
You need to invest in a good router and put it between the cable modem and computer.
And find someone else to look at that computer. Someone who is reputable and knows what they are doing.
If I knew you lived in my area, I would offer to look at and get it fixed the correct way.
