Quicky Mafia - Game XXXV

Day 1
A newly formed suburb lay along side Pubsville; it was formed on the ideals of logic and reason. The new residents felt safe in this little corner of land they had created, however a few of them moved here for darker purposes. The organized crime family of the big city saw the new community as a way to expand their influence. Two agents were sent to infiltrate and eliminate the new community. This is more than just another mafia take over for the community, this is a fight for survival and time is running short…

Standard rules/roles apply with the exception of a 1 1/2 hour time limit on days and 1/2 hour time limit on nights.

Once the day time limit is past I will begin adding random votes every 5 minutes until someone is lynched (I will randomly choose between the live players plus no lynch). Votes can still be changed during this time and the number to reach consensus will not change (even though I am adding extra votes).

If a night choice is not made, you lose the action for that night.

The only time I've seen any real grudges in the game are between me and Dez, and that's not real, we just butt heads a lot.

Did I mention I overstacked the randomizer with your name for when it comes to the time-limit random votes?

Way too early to present any sound ideas, yet Johnny often uses a defense such as this when he is a bad guy, expressing a concern of another or presenting an argument that would appear to clear him.
Like he did in the first game lol modded

He says that any time we play. He conveniently forgets that I formulated that plan BEFORE the roles were assigned.

I'm honestly not sure how to start day 1 of a speed game like this.

Without even knowing if we have a cop and/or doc, we can't be sure if we'll get investigative results overnight, so a no lynch would potentially be a total waste.

On the other hand, any lynch made in 90 minutes will most likely be completely random.

A game this short, random maybe the first 2 "days" is probably what's going to happen.

Its more like a real world game. I hosted a live mafia party last week... there were 11 players + me as a mod and a game only lasted about 1/2 hour (we played 3 games). None of them had played before, but the mafia won twice and the town won once.

A fast game has a little different strategy, but it is still a strategy game.

I think in a real life game it would be easier to pick out people with shifty facial expressions, etc. Online makes it a bit trickier.

I always wondered why these online games take months when the original game was played with people sitting around someone's living room...

It is just an observation means very little at this point.
Maybe later in the game it will reinforce an argument, or maybe not.

Better to point stuff out early, then later on if it looks like you might be right, you can look back at the post and say "aha!"

Laying low to see who was going to get impatient first... Now that that's answered..

OK LOL has done his usual disappearing act.

What a dilemma

Choices:

Choice 1. Start a bandwagon on LOL to punish him for nonparticipation
Choice 2. Vociferously argue against a bandwagon on LOL because that is the stupid mistake that is always made.

Or

Choice 3. Start a bandwagon on LOL, and then vociferously argue against it.

It's a conundrum really. Do we go with the "LOL is fun to lynch" strategy, or the "muzscman is always mafia" strategy?
