said by Sarah :Maybe grudge is the wrong word... I guess I felt like that move made it much less likely for people to trust me, no matter how pro-town I played. True, but that is the mark of an expert player.
I thought that Cop claim was the coolest thing ever done in any of these games. Second place goes to Lurlyn's playing dumb and not understanding Tetherwind's double-vote. Had me completely fooled.
Worst play was of course JackoffMaster trying to kill older dog, the known Bomb. Second worst might have been LollerROFL outing all the Townies. |

It probably did make people less likely to trust you, yet that is how the game is played for all of us at some point in time.
I find you very difficult to read and that is why I always am suspicious of you.
Even in this game it was not so much that I believed you as it was obvious to me that Johnny and Gomez were lying. |

| reply to Sarah I really don't expect anyone to trust anyone else in these games. Isn't that the whole point in the beginning? I do think that you pick up on a lot of things, and when I'm Mafia, that makes you a threat. Unless you pick up on a Townie who said something suspicious, then you are an asset . -- You've crossed the finish line. Won the race but lost your mind. Was it worth it, after all? | reply to Dezbend Not a real big fan of the Dez-O-Matic in a small game, the way this one ended is why
But the time limited games are pretty damned cool. And tense. -- You've crossed the finish line. Won the race but lost your mind. Was it worth it, after all? "Superman" -Lazlo Bane |

| reply to Sarah Honest Sarah I was mad at the people who believed you in the game when you role claimed cop not you. I thought it was a great play.
I really do not hold a grudge, no way to win a game that way. |

Johnny Premium join:2001-06-27 Atlanta, GA | reply to Dezbend Hmmm -- if we just let the "usual" rules apply, then at expiration of the time, there would either be a plurality or there would be a tie (a No Lynch).
I think there must be a problem with doing it that way, but I forget what it is. |

This was more playing the odds of the random votes. |

I had a great time, absolutely no hard feeling toward anyone.
Thanks for the fun game Dezbend. |

Sarah Premium,ExMod 2002-05 join:2001-01-09 Cambridge, MA clubs: | reply to Dezbend Maybe just go with the majority vote instead of random votes? I dunno. I feel like that made it way too easy for mafia to win in the lynch-or-lose, which in a C9 is almost always day 2. |

Dezbend Premium,MVM join:2001-04-20 | reply to Dezbend There was no cop. |

Sarah Premium,ExMod 2002-05 join:2001-01-09 Cambridge, MA clubs: | reply to older dog It was actually just like the other C9 game which I won claiming cop because one of the townies didn't check into the thread. Non-participation kills townies |

| reply to Dezbend I wanted to try the random vote mechanism, but I don't like it very much. I will have to reconsider how to encourage a fast game... but IMO this was too fast to really do well online. IRL it is easier and faster to find consensus... What did you all think? |

Gomez Been drinking brew for breakfast? Premium,Mod join:2001-02-21 Atlanta, GA clubs: | reply to older dog Yeah... I think the Dez-O-Matic gets the win. |
