How do I access my modem through router?

I have a Linksys WRT54GL router and a Speedstream 6520 modem. When my PC is connected directly to the modem I can access the modem but I can't when its connected through my router. Is there anyway I can see my modem config page while connected to the router without having to reconnect cables?

Connect the modem directly to your PC. Set it up to log in to your ISP. Reboot.

Connect to your router without the modem and set it in bridge mode (no login to your ISP).

Connect things back (Computer ==> router ==> modem). You should be able to connect to the modem directly through the router.

You need an extra network cable to make a loop...

Make sure you configure the modem 6520 and Linksys router to have different IPs...

1) Use an extra network cable to connect the Linksys router WAN port to one of the Linksys router LAN port... to make it like a loop...

2) Use another network cable to connect one of the remaining Linksys router LAN port to one of the 6520 modem LAN port...

Now you can get to the Linksys router or modem 6250 without reconnect cables..
