Re: Verizon DSL Service In Baltimore,MD? I really cannot speak for the speed issues, however, I can surely say that the brand of DSL modem ABSOLUTELY does NOT matter. So long it is ADSL/ADSL2/ADSL2+ compatible, all you have to do is adjust the VPI/VCI (Virtual channel) settings. Also, you just have to edit the PPPoE login information on the Zyxel modem's diagnostics. (I don't know exactly how to do this on Zyxel modems, though, you'll have to post on the equipment forums for that).
