For those trying the new NOD32 v3 RC I tried it but I had some issues. It seemed to be working fine but I was downloading some large files in Firefox and towards the end Fx locked up on me. I cancelled and had to Cntrl-Alt-Del to get Fx to close. I tried again and got the same issue. I changed a few setting and got it again. Rebooted and tried again with the same issue. I then uninstalled the NOD32 RC and the issue went away. YMMV I did have the HTTP turned off so not exactly sure what the issue with NOD was. The current version works fine. |

USA | jbob: Pure speculation on my part  but I believe NOD's real-time component (used to be AMON) doesn't scan those downloaded files until the downloads are complete. I've always had delays on immediate accessibility of large downloaded files with NOD... even with current 2.7. |

I use IMON now with NOD32 but have HTTP Checking disabled. When I was testing the RC I left it enabled to test. Without further testing however I cannot be sure what the issue was. |
