Re: Notice of Lease Termination/Non-Renewal from Apartment??? A lessor can certainly choose not to renew a lease; however, they need to have a legitimate reason to do so. Think about it. Most of these management companies are managing these properties so that the owners could make money. Why in the world would you suddenly decide to kick someone out that is paying rent on time (and helping the owner achieve their financial goals?)? Doesn't make sense. I would consult an attorney.
