Three mafia style fedoras lay on floor around the dead body. One man wearing a hat was a hired assassin for the mob, unfortunately his timing was bad, a witness saw him in his fedora at the scene of the crime. Maybe today was his lucky day there was a second witness who also puts a different hat-covered suspect at the scene of the crime. Each of these men wore a fedora, and the three fedoras lay on the floor near the dead body.
Each man knew which hat was his and the two witnesses are sure they saw clearly which hat the mafia member was wearing. Can the silver tongued mafia assassin talk his way out of this one? These are gentlemen he was dealing with; they have already agreed to settle this diplomatically, casting votes to see who forfeits his life for this murder. The assassin knows with one of the witnesses out of the way overpowering the other will be easy work. He just has to side with one of them, and he will go home free.

couple of rules.
No direct quoting of role PMs or using them to ferret out the mafia (i.e. well the 17th word of my PM is "are" what is the 18th word of yours?)
no hinting at colors. Either you are revealing the color of your hat or you are not (i.e. do not say my hat is a primary color).
No time limit.

Sorry work was hell today.. just getting caught up.
Making a spread sheet now.
Spent some time thinking about the nuances of this game. But not sure I fully grasp it. Be prepared for same quick ones as we work though it.

If I'm sane, and am accurate in my sighting of the hat, you would be dulisional, and see my my hat, which happens to not be white.

I didn't see anything in my pm about being delusional or being sane it just told me i witnessed a murder and saw a guy in a white hat, and that my hat was green. Last time i checked i wasn't color blind, insane, but by reading the flavor now it seems that the mafia would be silver tongued.
but in muz defense what color is your hat gomez?
