| why won't they offer more upload I know for a fact that cable upload speeds can achieve on docsis 1.1 anyway at least 2mbps, perhaps more, yet RR wants to have a top upload speed of 1mbps, which one can get either with 15 or 20mbps downstream tiers? OK 15/1 I can accept, but why does the 20mbit tier also have to only have 1mbps up? If you increase speeds, shouldn't it be in both directions? Why on Earth are ISP's so afraid to provide faster upstream connections! |

Why on Earth are ISP's so afraid to provide faster upstream connections! on DOCSIS 1.1 there is only 4.6mbps total upload BW. now way TW is going to give more than a megabit on DOCSIS 1.1 -- You can never be too rich, too thin or have too much Bandwidth |
