Heres an email I sent to explain my situation:
Hello, I had Primus high speed for about 4 years. After one year I returned the modem and used my own to save money. Last spring I cancelled my high speed service with Primus. Since then I keep getting prepaid envelopes to return a modem. I have called customer service at least a dozen times. They keep assuring me the envelopes are being sent out by mistake. However Primus did charge my once for the modem and subsequently reversed those charges. I do not want to be charged again and am getting frustrated with Primus. I continue to be a phone customer and have a Primus cell phone. Can someone please rectify this for me? It seems whenever I call nothing is done.
I'm not joking...I have called them at least a dozen times and its like speaking to a brick wall. Has anyone else had this problem? |

| when my speedstream modem gave up the ghost, they sent me a new modem even though I purchased one through the bulk buy. they included the envelope with the new modem and a list of what to return. I noted on their list that the filters were mine as I never did receive any from day one, except for the face plate one I have for the wall phone. Never got a call back from them indicating they never received the dead unit. I did return it to them with a signature required on their slip which I did not pay for. Purolator included it on the shipping document. There are numerous "old posts" with the modem issue. It seems it will never go away, and I think this will be the norm with pretty much everyone else. If you happen to have a copy of the shipping slip, you can still check it online to see who signed for it at their end. |
