@bellsouth.net | Dual input monitor question
My HP w2007 monitor has inputs for both VGA and DVI cables. I am useing my computer with the VGA cable. Should I be able to watch DirecTv on my computer screen with an HDMI to DVI cable connected to the monitor by simply toggleing the video input? |

| reply to CalicoJack You probably have the DirecTV set to output a resolution your monitor doesn't like. You may have to try changing the output resolution to see if there's one that will work.
Your monitor doesn't like the signal, so it shuts off, and while in the 'off' mode it probably doesn't want to switch inputs. |

Your LCD probably isnt showing because of HDCP. |
