There's no such thing as appeasing current customers. Business schools for years have taught the 80/20 rule (80% of your profits come from 20% of your customers), but who actually listens to that after they've gotten their expensive toilet paper? The Wall Street bell is what's telling them what to do. Pavlov anyone?
