Why do they always have to shut down the store. It is like the only online store that I know of that has to shut down to update a few things. Amazon, Newegg, Tigerdirect, Best Buy, they all stay up when updating. Guess that those apple servers can't do that for some reason

Bestbuy and compusa websites both go offline while they are updating stock.

NewEgg goes down all the time for shtuff but they usually do it late at night/early AM.

No, those stores, esp bestbuy, time their update/maintence in the wee hours of the night, between 2-6am, and normaly sunday.
