Hello. I'm posting this here because it's more a Time Warner problem than a Vonage problem... Has anyone experienced trouble using Vonage (wall/cablemodem/router/voip adapter) under Time Warner Cable in Brooklyn or anywhere in NYC? Our setup worked fine under Opt Online in Jersey (w/ dynamic IP) and also under a private apartment complex network (w/ static IP). I thought one could bring the Vonage adapter anywhere, plug it into a router and go? Could TW be doing packet shaping that's killing it? If so, is there a setup method that can get around this (while leaving us with decent router flexibility)? Thanks -- B. |
