Less places to sell mean more money

I always here that blocking illegal content will make legal content more available which is not always true. Perfect example would be NBC and Apple or Universal and Apple. There spat wasn't over illegal content but over money. So a site wasn't created to provide more content to consumers but cutoff.

The media companies control how there content is distributed and sold. Even if all the illegal content was removed, don't mean more places will be selling the content. The more places that sell the product, the less valuable the content is.

History with the media companies is not to give what people want but to control what people want.
