Magma Communication

Magma no longer exists. It was bought out by Primus Canada, a couple of years ago. You no longer get the friendly and fast service Magma used to offer. If you need tech support now from them, be prepared to be put on hold and wait, and wait, and wait...

RIP Magma -
"You no longer get the friendly and fast service Magma used to offer." is right. The fast efficient service was the reason I signed up with Magma years ago. I was on hold for 40 minutes waiting for a tech the other day, before I hung up because I had other things to do with my day.
I sent an email to the support email address, got the auto-response, but still no answer 3 days later.

So before I used to recommend Magma as an ISP, that is no longer the case.

I cancelled my account with Magma after having been a long time client. Their service, since taken over by Primus, dwindled down to the point of being totally unacceptable for me. Their call center is now in India.

I'm pretty sure they still do tech out of Ottawa...for their Ottawa customers anyways.
