| dish network model number 322 and net2phone failure
this is info for anyone who would like. My dish322 used to connect with sunrocket Then I was forced to make a choice. I went with net2phone. so for 5 months, my dish322 can not connect using net2phone. Yes, if you search, you will find how some people claim they can use dish with net2phone. Perhaps I am the only one, but I dont think so. I did the usual trick of putting a dsl filter on the line. that os what made it work with sunrocket.
so, if anyone knows how to make a dish322 receiver work with net2phone, let me know. Maybe it works, maybe it does not. do any of you get irritated when a sales rep tells you it will work with voip and then it does not? must be something about net2phone service that my dish322 does not like. And the dish tech people are no help. net2phone people says it is working like they designed it to work and nothing they can do. |

| I use a Sipura 2002 with ViaTalk. It was necessary to use a *99 prefix in my dish receiver to get it to talk over the phone. Also Dish Network has to have the phone number you are using as your phone number of record. I had to call Dishes 800-333-3474 customer service number to change that. -- RoadRunner, ViaTalk, Vitelity, VoipJet, Stanaphone, NuFone, CallWithUs

So it has to be a issue with your adapter i would say! |
