[game] Shirts variant "Who killed the cow?"

The unthinkable has happened. In the middle of the town square, just outside of pubsville, there lies the carcass of a bovine. Other than a few chickens happily taking their final revenge on the "Eat more chicken" ad campaign, there is nothing there; Nothing but three sets of tire tracks that obviously left in a hurry.

Those that left in a hurry knew who was there and why. One of them there for the hit , and two as witnesses who saw the unspeakable act. One sane witness saw the getaway car. A Delusional witness thinks he saw the getaway car, but actualy saw the sane witnesses' car.

It's up to you to figure out, "Who killed the cow?".

overview:

Game is described here: »www.mafiascum.net/wiki/index.php···e=Shirts

Rules:

Standard stuff:

Out of thread communication is not allowed.

Posting your role text is not allowed:

Non-standard stuff:

Forcing hints is not allowed.. best paraphrased from the above URL:

"However, it is usually forbidden to hint (rather than fully claim) a color. For example, you may not say "my shirt is/is not one of the color's of the rainbow"; or in a game with US States: "I am from the South". Claims such as this make it impossible for the Murderer to construct a fake claim and if hinting is allowed the Witnesses will always win."

Randomization and roles go out shortly.

Well, put a vote on BigReds then, and I'll put the hammer on him.

And what's up with these "cow" themes ?

To summarize so far:
Johnny - saw a Mercedes
BigReds - saw a Hummer
AlphaOne - drove a BMW

And what I saw is what I saw, it doesnt matter what it is.

Well, BigReds hasn't been on for 2 hours. So we wait.

Neither one of you saw my car, which is to be expected since one of you didn't see any car and has to make one up (Mafia), and the other could have either seen the Mafia car (sane) or the sane witness' car (insane).

BigReds says he saw a Hummer. That means
1. He is the sane witness and the Mafia drove a Hummer
2. He is the insane witness and the sane witness drove a Hummer
3. He is Mafia and there is no Hummer

Choice 2 is excluded for him, because neither you nor I drive a Hummer. So he's either sane or Mafia. It also means you can't be the sane witness because since he can't be the insane witness, he can't have seen you driving a Hummer, and since if you were the sane witness, you would have said Hummer and not BMW since there is no reason for either of the Town to falsify their car ownership.

Exactly what I thought too based on what's said so far.

But i want to hear from BigReds first. As it's possible you Johnny is the one making it up.

Could be you as well... now we are in a pickle aren't we =-)

But in all seriousness... I also think that someone is lying... how what do we do?

This will take forever.

Of course someone lied, and it's one of you.

I'm more leaning towards you as the liar.

I am leaning towards AlphaOne as Mafia.

BigReds was offline for two hours. In this game the Mafia would want to watch closely so they could put the hammer vote on and win the game if anybody got a vote. He didn't.

Not trying to defend, but in the signup thread I said my online time will be sporadic. If you'll base your decision on that go ahead, I won't take it against you.

My point was that you were NOT sporadic, which would be a Mafia trait - to stake out the thread waiting for a vote.
