| I'm thinking they will still keep the MetroCard around for single rides and special passes like yours. The same would probably go for TA employees who use MetroCard passes as employee IDs.

| Let's say you make $30,000 a year, you pay $35.08 every two weeks to TransitCheck, you're in a 15% bracket for federal, 7% for state, and 5% for city.
15 +7 +5 = 27%
So take $35.08 * 26 = $912.08 * 27% = $246 Tax Savings
The same thing goes for Health FSAs, and you get the chance to screw your employer with a Health FSA too LOL  PM me for details.
