Our average rural usage

We use about 300GB a month. This is on a 1.5/512 Rural DSL connection. We've got multiple machines (My imac, the wife's Macbook, My Macbook Pro, other random Beige box) in the house, as well as internet connected devices like Tivo and Xbox360. Xbox game demos can range up to 2GB in size. HD rentals on the 360 can be up to 6 gigs (that I've seen). We have a subscription to GameTap that is utilized extensively. The tivo pulls various tidbits of video from tivocast over the net. I've recently become enamored with Joost and the growing amount of content on that service. There is almost always something downloading in our home from one of many sources, all of which are using relatively large amounts of bandwidth and none of which are illegal in anyway. And this is just my wife and I, if we have kids I'm sure usage from most of the above sources will just go up. Heck we'd probably be using a bit more overall if our connection speed was faster.
